Hello everyone

Hello everyone! Well, what can I say but “WOW”! Summer camp is in full swing and as I write this—there are over 250 young people here at camp. This is the second of eight total weeks of camp this summer, not including a week of staff training. Summer is our biggest season, numbers-wise, of the entire year. It is so exciting to see these kids bouncing around, taking advantage of all the activities and the incredible weather. But what is so much more exciting is to see them digging into God’s word daily, spending time in prayer, sharing their hearts with their counselors, worshipping unashamedly, and sitting under some incredible preachers of the gospel. This is why we’re here; this is what TVR is all about; making Christ known to those who do not know Him and challenging those who do to dig deeper in their relationship with Him—not settling for a passing knowledge, but passionately seeking an intimate relationship with our Father. That’s what this summer’s theme, THE CORE, is designed to do. We’ve already seen the Holy Spirit moving in hearts and lives being changed by and committed to Christ! Praise God!!! Please be in prayer as this summer continues that we’ll experience God’s grace in the areas of safety, weather, finances and most importantly, the impact on lives in the Kingdom and for His glory!
