It has transformed the look and cleanliness of camp, and that huge sigh of relief you here is probably from all our vehicles. And, maybe best of all, it was all fully funded by several individuals, one posthumously, who love the Lord and were faithful to His leading to contribute to the work here. We also have shrunk the old ‘horse pond’ into a stream which feeds our waterfall, and are planning to use the grounds for additional activities.
As well, our office received a much-needed face-lift recently. We converted the old mail room into new office space for Aaron and Ricky. We created a ‘copy’ room for all our faxing, printing and copying machines. The ceiling in the main office was torn out and rebuilt. While it was out, we had duct work installed for a central heating and air-conditioning unit which is to be installed any day now. And with the addition of some new carpet and furniture, it looks like a different place. Also, Donny has just put the finishing touches on a new phone system. Nick Prill, a friend of camp from Ada, Michigan , secured the system for us at an incredible price and came down to help us install it. Nick has also hooked us up with a friend of his who is now hosting our site, also at an incredible price. I don’t know how we would manage without the selfless help of so many who give of themselves on the behalf of TVR.
There is another ‘new addition’ to camp…sort of. Topper, our newest horse, joined us a couple of months ago. Ray Stevens from the Fuquay-Varina area, provided him to us a price much lower than he would have normally sold him. Thanks, Ray!
We hope you are enjoying our still-sort-of new website. Donny has done an incredible job designing and managing it. We are tweaking it daily and adding content and features on a regular basis. We invite your comments/suggestions on the site. Our goal is that it be easy to navigate, as well as representative of our ministry…and fun!
